Manage your data and privacy

Updated Sun, 21 Jun 2026 3 min read

Your data is yours. Everything you store in Pharmosphere — your details, shifts, invoices and consents — lives in one place, and you decide how it's used.

You'll find all of it under Settings. This guide walks through each control, from invoice details to downloading or deleting everything we hold.

Privacy by design

Pharmosphere is built privacy-first: minimal data, clear consent, and a full audit trail of your choices. Everything non-essential is off by default — you only ever get what you opt into, in line with your UK GDPR rights.

Your invoice details#

The Invoice settings card holds the name, address and bank details that appear on the invoices you generate. Fill these in once and every new invoice picks them up. Use Clear if you ever want to wipe them.

Pharmosphere never touches the money

Pharmosphere only prepares the invoice and tracks its status. You send it, and the pharmacy pays you directly — we never hold, move or chase payment on your behalf. See Create an invoice.

Everything non-essential is off by default, so setting your preferences is about choosing what to switch on.

  1. 1

    Open Privacy & cookies

Go to Settings and find the Privacy & cookies card — this is the starting point for everything on this page.

  2. 2

    Choose your emails

Under Email preferences, select Manage email preferences. Product updates and Pharmacy insights are off until you switch them on. Invoice reminders — an occasional nudge when one of your own invoices goes overdue — is on by default because it's a service message about your account; untick it if you'd rather not receive it. Tick what you want and select Save preferences.

  3. 3

    Set your analytics preference

Back in Privacy & cookies, the Allow first-party analytics tickbox controls feature-usage tracking. It's first-party only — no third-party advertising trackers, and it never includes your financial details or any free text. Set it and select Save preference.

  4. 4

    Revisit the cookie banner

Manage cookie banner brings the consent banner back any time you want to review your choices.

What you choose to share#

Two optional controls let you contribute anonymised data to help the wider locum pharmacist community:

ControlWhat it contributes
Anonymised pay benchmarkAdds your rates, with no link to you, to the pay benchmark.
Area skills mapFeeds the skills supply-and-demand picture for your area.

Both are off until you turn them on, and you can switch them off again at any time.

Download a copy of your data#

Would you like a copy of everything we hold? In the Download my data section, select Download my data (.zip).

You'll get a ZIP containing your profile, shifts, invoices, expenses, saved pharmacies, community posts, consent history and your uploaded files — exported under your UK GDPR right of access, in a portable, machine-readable format.

Delete your account#

In the Delete account card, tick the box to confirm you understand, then select Delete my account.

Deletion is permanent

This permanently removes your account and sign-in along with your shifts, invoices, posts and uploaded documents and photo. It can't be undone — if you might want a copy, download your data first.

Your privacy, respected#

To exercise any other right — correction, restriction or objection — see the Privacy policy linked from the Privacy & cookies card.

Next, build out your profile.
