Build your profile and upload documents

Updated Sun, 21 Jun 2026 3 min read

A strong profile is how locum shifts and the verified community open up. Your profile page is where you add a photo, services, experience and languages — and keep your private compliance documents in one place, with reminders before they expire.

Build the profile pharmacies see#

Pharmacies and the community see a real person before they see a CV. A clear photo, your services and a little experience do most of the trust-building work.

Your profile brings photo, services, experience and documents together in one place.
  1. 1

    Add your photo

Go to /profile and click the camera button on your avatar at the top. Choose an image (up to 8MB), then drag to reposition and slide to zoom in the Adjust your photo box. Click Save photo. A clear headshot makes your profile feel real to pharmacies and the community.

  2. 2

    Log your experience

In the main column, use Experience to log your roles. Click Add, then fill in Role, Pharmacy / employer, Type, Start and End (or tick I currently work here), and an optional description. Click Add experience.

  3. 3

    Tick the services you provide

Under Services I can provide, select the clinical services you're trained and ready to deliver — Pharmacy First, flu and COVID-19 vaccination, the Blood pressure check service, independent prescribing and more — then click Save services.

  4. 4

Add languages and a short bio

In the sidebar, find Languages, click the pencil, type the languages you speak (separate with commas), and click Save. The About box lets you add a short bio. As you fill these in, the profile completeness card nudges you towards the gaps.

Upload documents with expiry reminders#

Your Documents section is a private compliance vault — only you can see it. Keep your professional indemnity, GPhC registration, DBS/PVG/AccessNI, qualifications and training records here.

  1. 1

    Title the document

In Add a document, give it a Title.

  2. 2

    Pick a type

Choose a Type from the grouped list — Registration & indemnity, Criminal record check, Qualifications & prescribing, Training & immunisation, Identity & right to work, or Other.

  3. 3

    Add an expiry date

Add an Expiry date if it has one — this is what powers the renewal reminders below.

  4. 4

    Upload the file

Choose a file (PDF or image, max 10MB) and click Upload document.

Each document shows a status, so you can see at a glance what needs attention:

StatusWhat it means
ValidIn date — nothing to do.
Expiring soonExpires within the next 30 days.
ExpiredPast its expiry date — upload a renewed version.
No expiryNo expiry date set for this document.

You can view, edit or delete any document from the list at any time.

Stay ahead of renewals and earn the verified badge

When something expires within 30 days, Pharmosphere flags it as Expiring soon so you can upload the renewed version in good time — no chasing your own paperwork. Pairing in-date documents with a completed profile is exactly what makes your account stand out to pharmacies and the community.

How the verified badge works#

Your GPhC number drives the badge near your name. It moves through three states:

  • Not verified — until you submit a GPhC number.
  • Verification pending — while a team member reviews it.
  • Verified — once the check is complete.

Note

This is a community check of the number you supplied — not an endorsement by the GPhC. A verified account is what unlocks trust features like posting in the community.
